Terms of service
Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Welcome to Ready to Print 3D. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the products and services provided by Ready to Print 3D (“Ready to Print 3D,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, submitting files or physical items, approving a project, paying an invoice or deposit, placing an order, or participating in our mobile messaging program, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products & Manufacturing
Ready to Print 3D provides custom manufacturing and fabrication services, including 3D printing, CAD design, 3D scanning, reverse engineering, prototyping, UV printing, laser cutting and engraving, and related services.
Due to the nature of additive manufacturing and other fabrication processes, minor variations may occur between digital models, prototypes, product photographs, and finished products.
These may include variations in:
-
Color or shade
-
Surface texture and finish
-
Layer lines
-
Seams
-
Support marks
-
Dimensional tolerances
-
Material appearance
-
Minor cosmetic imperfections
Such characteristics are inherent to many manufacturing processes and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Product photographs, digital renders, mockups, and prototypes are for reference and may differ slightly from the final product.
2. Quotes, Orders & Payments
Prices displayed on our website or provided through our quoting systems may be subject to review before a project is accepted.
Custom quotes are based on the information, files, quantities, materials, specifications, and scope available at the time the quote is prepared.
Unless otherwise stated, quotes do not include work outside the quoted scope.
Full payment may be required before production begins. Custom projects, CAD work, production runs, or other specialized services may require a deposit.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
-
Production will not begin until required payment or deposit has been received.
-
Deposits secure production/design time and may become non-refundable once work has commenced.
-
Remaining balances must be paid according to the terms stated on the applicable quote or invoice.
-
Additional work outside the original scope may result in additional charges.
-
We will seek customer approval before performing material additional work that would increase the quoted price.
Taxes, shipping charges, rush fees, design fees, or other applicable charges may be added where appropriate.
3. Custom Projects & Customer Changes
Custom work is produced specifically for the customer and may include design time, machine setup, materials, prototypes, test prints, and reserved production capacity.
Once work has commenced, custom projects generally cannot be canceled or refunded.
Custom services include, but are not limited to:
-
CAD Design
-
3D Printing
-
3D Scanning
-
Reverse Engineering
-
Prototyping
-
Test Printing
-
Production Manufacturing
-
UV Printing
-
Laser Cutting and Engraving
-
Printer Repair and Diagnostic Services
Changes requested after a quote, design, prototype, or production plan has been approved may require additional design time, materials, prototypes, setup, or production costs.
If customer-requested changes materially alter the original scope, Ready to Print 3D may provide a revised quote before continuing.
4. CAD Design & Revisions
CAD design pricing is based on the anticipated scope and complexity of the project.
Unless otherwise specified in writing, quoted design work includes only the work and revisions reasonably necessary to complete the agreed scope.
Substantial changes, new features, redesigns, changes in project requirements, or additional revisions requested after approval may be billed separately.
Errors attributable to Ready to Print 3D will be corrected without additional design charges where reasonably appropriate.
Customer-requested changes or new requirements outside the original scope may result in additional charges. We will obtain approval before performing billable work outside the agreed scope.
5. Instant & Automated Quotes
Instant or automated quotations generated through our website or third-party quoting systems are estimates based on the information available to the system.
Pricing may be adjusted if:
-
Files require repair or modification
-
Models are unsuitable for the selected manufacturing process
-
Additional supports or setup are required
-
Actual material usage differs materially from the estimate
-
A different manufacturing orientation or process is required
-
Special materials or finishing are required
-
Customer specifications change
-
Shipping or handling requirements change
-
The automated quote contains an obvious pricing or technical error
Submitting a file or receiving an automated quote does not guarantee project acceptance.
Ready to Print 3D reserves the right to review and correct a quote before accepting or beginning an order.
6. Customer-Supplied Items
Customers may provide physical items for scanning, measurement, repair, modification, reproduction, UV printing, engraving, or other services.
While reasonable care will be taken, working with customer-supplied items may involve inherent risks.
Ready to Print 3D is not responsible for damage caused by:
-
Pre-existing defects or deterioration
-
Hidden damage or material weakness
-
Normal handling reasonably necessary to perform the requested service
-
Shipping or carrier handling
-
Material reactions that could not reasonably have been anticipated
-
The inherent fragility or condition of the supplied item
Customers must notify Ready to Print 3D before submitting valuable, rare, sentimental, collectible, or irreplaceable items.
We may decline to work on any item where we believe the risk of damage is unreasonable.
7. 3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering
3D scanning and reverse engineering involve converting physical geometry into digital information and may require interpretation, reconstruction, or modification.
Worn, damaged, flexible, reflective, transparent, incomplete, or complex objects may affect scanning accuracy.
Scanning may require temporary scanning markers, removable scanning spray, or other preparation techniques.
Reverse-engineered parts may not be exact replicas of original manufacturing drawings or specifications.
Customers are responsible for testing and verifying dimensions, tolerances, fitment, function, and suitability before relying on a reverse-engineered component for final or production use.
8. Printer Repairs & Diagnostics
Printer repair and diagnostic services are provided on a reasonable-effort basis.
Payment of a diagnostic fee does not guarantee that a machine can be repaired.
Certain equipment may require replacement parts, manufacturer support, firmware changes, or additional troubleshooting beyond the initial diagnostic service.
We will seek customer approval before purchasing significant replacement parts or performing additional billable repairs beyond the agreed scope.
Ready to Print 3D is not responsible for pre-existing problems, undisclosed modifications, previous repair attempts, manufacturer defects, unsupported firmware, or failures unrelated to work performed by Ready to Print 3D.
9. Production Times & Deadlines
Production and completion times are estimates unless Ready to Print 3D expressly agrees to a guaranteed deadline in writing.
Estimated completion times may be affected by:
-
Equipment availability or failure
-
Print or manufacturing failures
-
Material availability
-
Design changes
-
Customer approval delays
-
Order volume
-
Shipping carrier delays
-
Events outside our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to meet communicated timelines but cannot guarantee estimated completion dates unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Shipping & Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Ready to Print 3D is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or incorrect addresses supplied by the customer.
Risk associated with carrier delays or handling may be subject to the applicable carrier's terms and available insurance.
Customers should promptly report shipments that arrive damaged, incomplete, or appear to have been lost in transit so that we can assist with any available carrier claim.
11. Returns, Refunds & Defects
Because many Ready to Print 3D products are custom-made, personalized, manufactured to customer specifications, or produced on demand, custom sales are generally final.
Custom products are not eligible for return or refund because of a change of mind, incorrect customer-provided measurements, or customer approval of an incorrect design or specification.
If an item arrives damaged or we manufacture an item materially different from the approved specifications, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Depending on the circumstances, an approved resolution may include:
-
Repair
-
Replacement
-
Reproduction of the affected component
-
Store credit
-
Refund, where appropriate
Ready to Print 3D reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.
12. Product Fitment, Tolerances & Intended Use
Customers are responsible for reviewing and verifying dimensions, fitment, compatibility, and intended use before installation or use.
3D printed and fabricated products may have dimensional tolerances resulting from material properties, machine calibration, manufacturing orientation, environmental conditions, and the selected manufacturing process.
Unless specifically agreed and documented otherwise, Ready to Print 3D products are not designed, tested, rated, or certified for:
-
Life-safety applications
-
Safety-critical applications
-
Load-bearing structural applications
-
Automotive safety systems
-
Aerospace or aviation applications
-
Medical devices
-
Other regulated applications requiring specific certification or testing
Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended application.
13. Intellectual Property & Customer Authorization
Customers represent that they own, license, or otherwise have the legal right to submit and reproduce any files, designs, logos, trademarks, photographs, models, objects, or other content provided to Ready to Print 3D.
Customers agree not to request manufacturing or reproduction that infringes another party's intellectual property rights.
Ready to Print 3D may decline any project where ownership or authorization is unclear.
Original files supplied by customers remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original CAD files, digital models, designs, scans, manufacturing files, workflows, fixtures, processes, and other original work created by Ready to Print 3D remain the intellectual property of Ready to Print 3D.
Payment for design or manufacturing services does not automatically transfer ownership of editable source files or underlying intellectual property.
Deliverable files and intellectual-property rights may be transferred or licensed when expressly included in a written quote, invoice, scope of work, or separate agreement.
14. Confidential Projects
Ready to Print 3D respects confidential customer projects.
We are willing to consider reasonable Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDAs”) when requested before confidential information is disclosed.
Any confidentiality obligations are governed by the applicable signed NDA or written confidentiality agreement.
In the absence of such an agreement, additional contractual confidentiality obligations do not automatically apply.
15. Rush Orders
Rush production may be available for an additional fee depending on equipment availability, material availability, project complexity, and existing production commitments.
Rush fees compensate for scheduling priority and expedited handling.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, payment of a rush fee does not guarantee a specific delivery date where delays occur because of equipment failure, carrier delays, customer changes, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
16. Commercial & Production Orders
Production manufacturing, wholesale orders, commercial partnerships, recurring production, and high-volume orders may be subject to separate pricing, payment schedules, production releases, lead times, shipping arrangements, and other terms.
Where a separate written agreement, purchase order acceptance, quote, or statement of work conflicts with these Terms, the project-specific written terms will control to the extent of that conflict.
17. Commercial Licenses
Certain Ready to Print 3D designs may be offered under a commercial license that permits the license holder to manufacture and sell physical products made from the licensed design.
Unless otherwise specified, commercial licenses:
-
Apply only to the original purchaser or subscribing business
-
Are non-transferable
-
Permit the sale of physical manufactured products only
-
Do not transfer ownership of the underlying design
-
Do not permit resale, sharing, distribution, sublicensing, or redistribution of digital files
-
Do not permit customers to represent the underlying design as their own original digital work
Where attribution is required, it must clearly state:
Designed by Ready to Print 3D
Commercial licenses may be subject to additional terms displayed at the time of purchase or subscription.
Ready to Print 3D reserves the right to suspend or revoke a commercial license for violation of its applicable license terms.
18. Abandoned Projects & Customer Communication
Some projects require customer approval, measurements, files, responses, or payment before work can continue.
If a customer fails to provide information, approval, payment, or other required action for an extended period, the project may be placed on hold.
Ready to Print 3D is not responsible for delays caused by a customer's failure to respond or provide required information.
Production schedules and previously estimated completion dates may change when a paused project resumes.
19. Fraud, Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Ready to Print 3D reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel orders suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or other unlawful conduct.
We may request reasonable identity or payment verification before accepting or fulfilling an order.
Customers should contact Ready to Print 3D directly regarding billing or order disputes so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not alter the customer's obligations regarding valid charges for products or services actually provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in writing or required by applicable law, products and services are provided without additional warranties regarding suitability for a particular purpose.
Custom manufacturing is performed according to the specifications, information, files, approvals, and requirements provided or approved by the customer.
Ready to Print 3D does not warrant that a customer-designed or customer-specified product will perform successfully for a particular application merely because we are able to manufacture it.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ready to Print 3D will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use, misuse, inability to use, installation, or performance of our products or services.
Customers are responsible for evaluating whether products are suitable and safe for their intended application.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
22. Force Majeure
Ready to Print 3D is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
-
Equipment failure
-
Power or utility interruptions
-
Material shortages
-
Supply-chain disruptions
-
Natural disasters or severe weather
-
Fire or other emergencies
-
Labor disruptions
-
Government actions
-
Shipping carrier delays
-
Other events beyond our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to resume affected services when circumstances permit.
23. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from our products or services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
